The World’s Largest Exhibit of Gems and Fossils
In 2024, a living fossil (the Dirt Doc) and a gem (Ruby) took Indiana Joe Hubbard of Creation Research-UK to the largest Gem and Fossil Show in the world, the Tucson 22nd Street Gem and Fossil Show.
Glenn and Ruby joined Creation Research-UK’s Joe Hubbard in 2024 visit at Tucson AZ’s 22nd Street Gem and Fossil Show. It is the world’s largest gem and fossil show. The top fossil dealers from all over the world come to display and sell their finds. We met and spoke with collectors and dealers from every major fossil bed in the USA as well as from Morocco, Asia, Germany and others. We made contacts with owners of quarries that later in 2024 and also in 2025 we did fossil digs with.
At the show, we saw fossils from dealers from all over the world. We learned a great deal from Joe as he taught us to how to recognize fraudulent fossils or modifications from legitimate fossils. We were able to purchase many living fossils that testify to the fact that living things do just as God commanded them in Gen 1, they reproduce after their kind. No matter how old evolutionists want to imagine the rocks are that these living fossils are buried in are, all they show is that they have reproduced after their kind from the time they died until the time they were unearthed. We were also able to purchase many fossils for sell to support this ministry.
While we were at the show, David Rives or DR Ministry, contacted us and asked if we could bring back with us the fossils and gems he purchased for his Wonders Center museum in Dickson TN. We already had a close relation with David and his ministry by going on fossil digs with him and making recordings in his studio for his TV shows. So we gladly rented a U-Haul and hauled his items and ours back to TN. Visit his Wonders Center in TN just west of Nashville where you will see these on display as well as some of the items CSM and CR-UK have donated to his museum. It is the biggest and best Bible-supporting museum in the US, but be careful there-don’t let the million watt Tesla machine get you.
Trips like this allow us in creation research and education ministries to not only have a means to support this ministry but to find fossils from all over the world that testify to the truth of God’s word.
